This weekend was rediculous. Alright Friday at around 4PM we (Jack and myself) got into Fredericton and were immediately dropped off at Quinn's and Jarrett's apartment. Upon arrival we did the usual, "Hey what's up nice to see you again deal" and then just started chilling out. The night started with watching Jarrett play some NHL 06 online and progressed from there. We all wanted to drink so at around 8PM we went over to the liquor store and got some booze. I did not get ID which made me mad because I have yet to get ID since I turned 19. This was the first of 2 times this weekend that I would not get ID. So Mike, Jack and myself leave the liquor store with 3 cases and a 2-4 (flat) and head on back towards our final destination for the evening. On this journey home you have to cross a very busy intersection so for about 2-3 minutes we were all just standing there waiting to cross the road with arms filled with beer. It took me a while to figure it out, but a lot of people kept looking at us and laughing. After a minute I clued in that this was because the 3 of us fit the typical stereotype of university kids at that moment. Standing there with way more beer then we need to drink, in public crossing a street, obviously heading to have a good time. So anyways finally we get back to Quinns and we start on the beers. The night did not really move away from the living room very much. Maybe to use the bathroom or what not, but most of the night was spent watching hockey, and playing NHL 06 online. One of the best parts about the online play is you can use a headset to talk to the people you are playing. Now depending on who the person, wheather he was cool or not, depicted what type of person we would be to them. There were a couple of guys who we just tore into the entire time and made fun of because they were doing it to us, but for the most part there were some pretty cool people to talk to. Amazing how many people believe that people who live in the atlantic provinces drink everyday of our lives and are huge alcoholics. Completely blew my mind. One guy from Winnipeg made fun of the maritimes and I was like dude are you dead serious your from Winnipeg, you guys used to be cool like 40 years ago, but there is no way you can make fun of us for being hicks when you live in the complete middle of nowhere. I won't get into it, but other comments were said. (He was obviously one of the guys we trashed talked). Anyways as the night progressed more random events occured like going to the Irving to get food for everyone and such. Overall it was a pretty decent night. We were going to go downtown, but everyone wanted to save it for Saturday night so we ended up not going. None the less it was defiently a good relaxed type of night, but also filled with fun adventures. Alright so Saturday morning We get up the next morning and everyone is hungover. After a few hours of relaxing and getting better we figured it would be a good idea to go and play some ball hockey at Deco's residence. So we did and it was pretty sweet. We were still all hungover with nothing to eat that day so after about 20 minutes we had no energy and instead of playing 2 on 2 had to resort to doing penalty shots so we could conserve our energy. So after the ball hockey we decided to go back home and chill out for a while and make plans for that night. After a few hours we had decided on plans and headed to the liquor store once again then we headed down to Leigh's house who was haveing a lot of people over. Now the distance from Quinn's and JC's apartment to Leighs isn't the problem, it is the fact that literally the entire distance is downhill. It's about a 2-3 km treck and walking downhill isn't bad, but the notion that you know you have to walk back up to get home is what gets you. So anyways we make it to Leigh's and we start playing socialables. I think the best part of the game a rule that was made that whenever someone knew came through the living room door (where we were playing) we had to all stand up and do a slow clap and chant that persons name until the slow clap became a superfast clap and we were shouting the persons name. The first victim was Mike MCD who took it in stride and started to clap and shout his own name along with us. I think every persons reaction was really good to it. So after socialables we were all chilling out in different rooms and all of a sudden we decide to have a dance party in one room so a whole bunch of us went in and just listened to dance songs and gave er. I think the best part was there was a dedicated person who would flash the lights on and off really quickly to give it more of a club effect. After that Quinn and I and Jack decided to leave and head on home so we did. On our long journey up the hill we seen these people having a house party and being as drunk as we were we decided to go in. So we did and some guy came up to us and was like, "who am I?" and then did an impression of Johnny Depp and we got it and he was like yes you guys are awesome and lets us in the house. So we get in there and are talking to this girl who tells us that the party is a UNB theatre party which made it so much funnier to be there. So we talked to some people and then decided to leave. So we continued up the hill to the next house which was also having a party and tried to get in and would of succeded, but to get in you needed to be wearing a suit jacket which none of us were so we talked to the guy who was bouncing at the door and then we left. So we make it home and we walk into the door and Quinn is so far gone he needs to pass out, but before he does he makes a huge mistake and tells Jack and I to eat whatever we want. So needless to say we made 4 grilled cheese sandwiches, 6 Hashbrown paddies, 4 egg rolls, and a box of KD. (We were really hungry, but we didn't eat all of it). So after that we both went to bed and then got up this morning and came home. Overall the weekend was wicked. Next weekend we have Jack's going away party on Friday, Saturday is 2-4 which needless to say those 2 events will have to merge into one so that we don't die and then theres SUPERBOWL SUNDAY which hopefully should be a wicked time. Alright well this thing is long enough and if anyone reads it then wow that was a good length of time out of your life so I will see you all later.

After a lot of long nights and weighing the pros and cons of my situation I finally decided to come home. My decision was based on the fact that at this point in my life I should at least have a little idea of what I want to do for the rest of my life. Turns out that instead of a little idea about one specific catergory of jobs I found myself pondering over various jobs with a lot of different educational backgrounds. Naturally this was a problem since some of those ideas concerned going to different schools to do the programs that I would need to do to persue these jobs. So now I am home and working for Hoyt's again which is alright. Best of all though I am back at the gym. Today I am super soar though, all that lactic acid build up over the last 5 months rushing out at once. The good side though is in a week I will be back to normal and be able to work out and not hurt. As long as everything goes as planned I will be heading to Freddytown this weekend for Jarrett's birthday, oh by the way Happy Bday JC, which should be a wicked time. Other then that not much has been going on in the valley. Most people are obvioulsy still away at university, but the good news is most of my friends go to universities within driving range of my place so I can see a numerous amount of road trips being made over the next few months. Should be a decent time. If this Winter is any sign of how mild the summer is going to be then I am heading North because it is rediculous here. We had snow two days ago and yesterday is was +10 degrees again and melted most of it. I mean +10 degrees at the end of January is just amazing. I guess we will have to wait and see what February and March brings because usually those are the two months that we get all of our snow storms and super cold wheather. So in other news Canada pulled a United States and elected the guy who doesn't know half of his country exists. Stephen Harper has failed to realize that Canada exists past Toronto on multiple occasions and is so gunho about Western Canada that we might as well pack up and move there just to get some attention. Not to mention a person that he shares a lot of his ideals with, such as his views on weaponary, is none other then the best president ever (*sarcasm) George Bush. So the next few years should be interesting to see and who knows maybe now that he is prime minister he will embrace the Eastern part of Canada with open arms, hopefully, but if not then I guess we will have to stick it out. Anyways enough of that I am starting to get hungry so I am going to go make some chicken. C ya.
